Associate Director, Development
The Advancement Team works with alumni, friends, and donors to support the faculty, students, and researchers. Their work would not be possible without your support.
There are many ways that you can support, including contributions to scholarships, bursaries, awards and more. Giving is easy; donate directly through our online site, or learn more about the many opportunities below.
Your generosity can transform a life.
The degree I completed in Health Studies provided with an excellent foundation to enter the nursing program. The program thoroughly educated me in a number of health and aging topics and encouraged me to think about these topics critically.

By completing a double major in the Faculty of Social Sciences, specifically in Religious Studies and Sociology, my worldview quickly expanded as I began learning about diverse communities, belief systems, theories, and perspectives.

I loved my time at McMaster. I truly felt like a part of a community, at both the Economics Department and McMaster more generally. The faculty at the Economics Department were genuinely interested and cared about me and my research interests and ambitions. Without their support, as well as the friendships that I made with other students, I would not have had such a wonderful and successful experience at McMaster.
Giving Opportunities

Faculty of Social Sciences Fund
Supporting the Faculty of Social Sciences Fund helps in developing new initiatives and ongoing priorities in the faculty.
The 12 departments at the faculty all have unique needs and goals, but at the forefront of it all, is providing the best education for all members of our community.

Social Sciences Scholarship
Scholarships are awarded to students who achieve academic success in their field.
Giving towards Social Sciences scholarships ensures that these students are rewarded for their academic merit and progress and helps the Faculty support some our best and brightest minds.

Social Sciences Bursary
Helping students reach their academic goals has always been a top priority at McMaster.
The Social Science Bursaries help alleviate burdens for students who struggle financially and allow them to focus on their studies and research. Providing the opportunity for students to flourish through excellence in their field helps greatly in the Brighter World we strive for.

Social Sciences Student Training Fund
At McMaster, we believe a good education that includes career support, training and development has the power to transform lives and, in turn, communities to be fairer, healthier, and more prosperous for all.
